Money Tree
This is the first vase from a new series I have been wanting to create, a series of vases where the patterns within them are the space I have to test my art. I’ve been exploring the idea of making my own vases, and the first step to any piece, at least for me, is a sketch. This time instead of just making a sketch, I decided to turn them into full scale paintings! The pattern within them are inspired by Portuguese tiles, which are an abundant source of inspiration themselves. This marks the beginning of a new idea. -Antonia xx
